It always disheartens me to hear foreigners and Americans alike complain about this country, my country. After everything we have been through as a Nation, after everything our forefathers have fought for on this land and fields afar with their own blood.
What do we have without that patriotic spirit? We are the most generous, most prosperous, strong-willed hard-working people to have ever graced God’s Earth. We have done more good for more people than any dictatorship or monarchy has or will ever do. That spirit built this country from the ground up. It’s what waged and won war on Normandy beach, it’s what ended the tyranny of Adolf Hitler, and it’s what infused the great Ronald Reagan to defeat the Communist Soviet Union.
I wake up every morning and thank He above that I am privileged enough to live in a country of such greatness. I love this Nation more than I could ever put into words. Patriotism is what we all need a little more of today, that and Jesus’ salvation.
God bless this Nation on The Hill, for we are one people, under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.
And you can take that to the bank.

Generations do not know their own history or culture.
The young kids and young adults have been trained to hate the ideals at the foundation of that america, of which you speak.
What is political correctness? Moral relativism and hammering down individuals to conform into the collective.
We have been undercut by an deliberate mis-education, and by motivated lawyers trained by communists.
What is left of that ameircan culture of which you speak? What is left of our Constitution just now?
Recognizing truthfully the reality of our situation, is the first step toward reclaming our country, our schools, and restoring our Constitution.
Every few generations the country strays, and then must painfully re-create the american ideal around the founding principles. We have been a beacon unto the world. But today we are in one of those painful phases, and must work to restore the founding principles, or lose the heart and soul of that bright shining city on the hill.
Observe reality.

The longer we wait to act, the more painful the restoration.
How hard will it be to make California responsible for their own debt, to make them live within their means, to cut them off from free-loading off the rest of us? All spoiled kids have trouble with reality, until they faced reality; self-sufficency, the principles of business, the limited role of government, the freedom of individuals. California won’t like it, and they will ‘act up’ (it’s what spoiled kids do); but they will re-learn what their grandparents knew about being an American. It’s hard work.
Reality creates Americans.

Absolutely. Americanism needs to be taught in schools, to love this country and know that you are privileged to be here.
